On May 11th, 2022 Globe Theatre announced the public phase of their capital campaign at their press event at 1801 Scarth St. The event highlighted how the public can lend support towards the Globe’s $12 million dollar capital campaign.
To kick off the campaign, Jocelyn Lang, Public Campaign Chair introduced an anonymous matching donation of $500,000. This donation match is a rare opportunity for the community to double its impact and stretch its dollar even further.
There are four levels of giving for the public campaign: Producers Circle, Directors Circle, Artists Circle, and Seat Sponsorship.

To date, the Globe Theatre has raised $6 million dollars, halfway towards the $12 million-dollar campaign goal. The multi-million-dollar redevelopment project will significantly contribute to the revitalization of Scarth St. and the Regina downtown – building improvements will elevate the patron experience and spur economic growth.
The Theatres’ renovation began in 2020 and is scheduled to be completed by late 2023 at a projected cost of $34 million.
Community support ensures that Globe Theatre will continue to entertain, educate and engage in the art of professional theatre through producing high-quality performances, providing theatre education, and serving as a valuable part of the Regina community.
